When we were dreaming of heading off into the sunset, we were reading every cruising and sailing book we could get our hands on. We learned a lot from all of them.

We also bought VHS video tapes of any sailing or cruising subjects we could find. We relished each and every video. Every one of them had us dreaming of far off places, these videos kept the fires of our imagination burning brightly.

After Guenevere adopted us, and we were getting closer to actually heading off ourselves, we noticed the one reoccurring problem that kept bothering us about the videos. It was that they only gave us snippets of the cruising life style. We certainly understood the problem. It's impossible to condense 2 or more years into a 90 minute or so video. What we were seeing was VERY condensed. What got left out, was the real day to day activity in favor of the general overall voyage. We soon realized we were not seeing any information on bad weather, rainy days, the very challenging times. No one seemed to motor at all?

When we decided to send video to our family and friends, we wanted them to see not only the great times, but to know we also had some challenging times. After all, despite all of the talk, it's not ALL sunshine and margaritas out here!

After making a video for our family, a friend suggested we should make them available to a much wider audience. What an idea! And so you are now able to view them also.

We decided, our videos would be a more realistic look at what our cruising experience is like. Our videos don't chronicle an epic, around the world adventure. They split our cruising into shorter legs, the actual way a lot of cruisers approach cruising. By approaching it this way, we show a much truer view of day to day life aboard a cruising sail boat. And, as a bonus, we get to share some of the highlights of the areas we visit.

Each video shows our way of life aboard and details not shown in more generalized, far reaching videos. Our videos start at nautical mile 0 of our cruising adventure. You see the wonderful sights and events, just as we saw them. We also talk about mistakes we made along the way. These videos show our learning process.

We believe these videos will certainly be of interest to any cruisers planning to visit these areas. We also think they will be of interest to anyone who might be visiting the area by any means. Even people who like to travel vicariously will find enjoyment in them.

We have no background in the movie industry. Our ONLY movies up till now have been home videos.

These videos are not Hollywood productions! We have no studio, or sponsers behind us. Our DVDs are multimedia presentations of real life cruising by us, real people, living a lifelong dream to retire to tropical, warm, clear waters and experience the real wonders the world has to offer. What you get to see and hear is as close to what we saw and heard as we could make it.

We are NOT expert cruisers and these are not "how to" cruising videos. They only show how and where we have chosen to cruise.

By “multimedia” we mean they contain video, and may contain still photos, original sound, and at times a narration and/or sound track (music), that we have added to make it more interesting. We have taken every opportunity, and every resource available to us to make them as interesting and fact filled as we can.

We are proud to say that these videos were taken on board Guenevere our Nor'Sea 27, or by the two of us during some of the shore excursions, during the travels in the video. We used a home digital video camcorder and a digital still camera. The images were then transferred to our on-board laptop computer where they were edited, and the final master DVD was produced.

We hope you enjoy them and find them informative in some way. If you do, please let us know by email, we would like to hear your thoughts.

These DVD programs were financed by us with no sponsorship or outside funding. It should not be copied, shown for gain or reproduced electronically without permission.

Please help us regain our cruising kitty by encouraging your friends to purchase their own copy.

Thanks

As we heard some time ago: The boat is our “bedroom”, the world has become our living room!
